I was thinking about the scenario threads.
the scenario thread of kavorkian was called machine, and it ended when kavorkian was destroyed.
The metal man thread is still going because, while other things have been happening, metal man is still in the running.. so what do we do with him?
he is in a fairly influential position at the moment, so it is possible that we can coerce him to being central and perhaps finding a possible ending for the scenario?

I was thinking that we have already developed him so far.
he started off intending to be a destroy all, but soon changed into a failure. he became a character to pity.
he has been beaten up and damaged to the extreme.
he is a pathetic thing.

but there is a chance that he can do some good.
perhaps he can do something pivotal.

at the moment, metal man is inside the city.
kcirevam is headed for the city with destruction in mind. shadow is also going there eventually.
so perhaps metal man can help them in some way?
something that only he can do...
he is not flesh or biological, so perhaps a cait sith type role?
he makes a sacrifice for the good of his 'friend' shadow.

Metal Man... hmm.... I was thinking about this since it has been a long time and most of the characters are in the temple but I didn't want to split out the temple posts and with Metal man still alive, it was something that probably shouldn't be split but might have to.

We certainly could have Metal Man do something like that although I might take a few more posts. I deliberately have been holding off killing him since I didn't want shadow to kill both creations - Kavorkain and Metal Man - and it's is contemptible to kill something that can't fight you... although shadow will get over that delusion very, very soon. Metal man may not want to help shadow if he knew the truth but he doesn't have to find that out.

Shadow's not going to get there - Handefu - for a while though. She has to fight off Hiyashita and get her blade back from the Valkyries. Once there though, I can have her jump back most of the way to the city. That will actually make sense given what I want to do with Hiyashita if no one else gets there first. NPC's are always a risk which is why I usually write all the posts then post them all together. That's a risk as well, that someone will change the plot on you but at the moment, it's a fairly controllable one. I look forward to the day it's not a controllable one.

With Kcirevam in the city at the moment, he's about to encounter Kihan, someone else who was touched by darkness when the city was allied with Darkness. So that should slow him down enough to get Shadow, Kcirevam and Metal Man together. Or shadow could jump back to save Kcirevam from Kihan. I'm not sure how Mav's going to write that since Kihan is more powerful than him, level wise.

Espy is also going to head towards the city if Apoc ever gets inspiration to wake him up. Lol. At least, that's what he said he'd do. I think he'd be better off going after Alycone but I can only hint at that so much.

I'm slightly more concerned about the party in the temple and what they will do when they get out of it.

I was thinking that beyond the desert that surrounds the temple, there is a forest (which is a little odd geographically but meh). Although this is subject to change given who actually gets to write that post. It's fairly easy to create monsters there for them to encounter but perhaps we can see if we can put them on a 'quest' for something. Maybe one of them can be hurt in the temple and need healing via a chalice or other mystical object. Having straight out fighting is a little boring and with the exception of Wade, both Kitsune and Nizalb seem more reactive rather than proactive players. Kavor and Wade can only lead them around for so long.

Perhaps Kavor can be injured in the fight against Secrem and if they want to continue with him, they will have to heal him. Nizalb might let him die, Kitsune, I'm not too sure about. I am interested in seeing who picks up Alycone since I'm interested in who's paid attention to her.

All this though can be dealt with in time.

I'll see what can be done about getting Shadow, Kcirevam and Metal Man together in Handefu and giving Metal Man a... honourable send off. Will the city survive? That is the question. Lol
