Hey all, if you want to chat and hang out in a discord I've got one for fan-editors to just come out and have positive vibes. https://discord.gg/BrmD7N3bHF Please follow rules and be respectful. I strive to seek to create a positive chill environment. :D

I'm planning to make a Supergirl edit, but I really want to change the ending, one so the turn of Ruthye from killing Krem does not feel so rushed, it felt so TV like, like OH let me have flashbacks, hear wise words and be like okay. But also I want to change it so Krem is not killed by Kara Could VFX be used and A.I to create a new ending, ,my idea is to use a shot of him being dragged, and then maybe just have him locked in a prison using CG / AI combo? Then add a post-credit where we go 80 years later and he's seeing the sunrise and is visited and reminded. Something akin to the comics ending. I know that might be hard considering well, he's a uhhh(spoiler hidden). in the film but I think the ending could've been better. If I kept Lobo which now reading what Jess said about there edit ideas, yea he is completely useless, just there for comic fans to go "yeah!" but that meant nothing cause it still bombed hard. I've got more trims and re-arranges, entire opening reconstruction. But how could the ending be fixed? I'm against AI over an actual job but it's an edit, so use your resources I say. It'd just be for 1 scene. I do have a friend who does CG and such so maybe they could help but I need to figure out if this could believably be done first/

I've ever since my second watch of X-Men Dark Phoenix have enjoyed the film... and after learning of it's crazy production with major reshoots changing the whole third act, different goals and ideas, shortened vision, missing trailer footage, etc, etc, I've wanted to reconstruct it. I've really wanted to try and create the epic that was the original cut and while I think it'd be impossible to fully recreate it, because I can't go to NYC and shoot the actors doing the original scenes... I do think I could with help (someone doing VFX) make something more grand, and at least different. (image)(image) I mean you have these pieces of concept art, but there's way more; There's an excellent YT video by the channel "Dark Phoenix Un-Cut" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvwvETFKCic that has a lot of the art and such in one video... what I would give to try and just reconstruct simple things, like Jean having more fire, or the original opening titles... Even the teaser's got missing stuff cause it's from before the reshoots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWbMckU3AOQ The shot of Scott in the fog, Charles in the backyard of the X-Mansion "apologizing" which we do have that deleted scene on physical... but like I said I don't wanna just slap in 4 scenes and call it good, I want to make something grander, more epic. Will anyone help me?
