I love movies, I love animals, and I love animal movies.... but what happens when storytellers try to mess you up emotionally by taking the art of animation and then giving you...
Animal Farm (1954), Plague Dogs (1982) and Watership Down (1978)
Well... I'm not sure.
I'd like to discuss these films though, as I've watched the first two movies for the first time, and am planning to watch Watership but am truly unsure how to feel on all three of these.
I really liked Plague Dogs- I thought it was ambitious and mature- I support the cutting of the U.S version to remove a certain frame... for reference I watched the 83 minute cut but now own both...
and Animal Farm I just finished 10 mins ago and yea. It's anti-communist but otherwise I don't think it's that great, felt cheap and low budget... however it was funded by the CIA??
So can we discuss these films? I'm wanting to discuss the quirks and positives and flaws!
