Interesting that you liked Shaw that much! He did have a lot of integrity... kind of.

I decided to rate it 8, the writing is just not good enough for it to be a 9 imo!

Not sure what to do with myself now haha. Am watching the pilot of Enterprise.

well you have options! voyager is worth watching. I've watched voyager more than enterprise. it's easier to watch. enterprise is good and i love it, but it's a bit harder to watch. not sure why.
Strange New Worlds s worth it too. There are some terrible episodes, but there are also some really good ones.

I think that would be a mistake but if you think you wouldn't watch them if it meant having to watch all of them... well that is a necessary sacrifice. My reasoning is though, these lists do not know you personally and they may advise you to watch episodes they like but you don't , and they may tell you to skip episodes that you might really like. My primary example is The Inner Light, one of the most celebrated TNG episodes, my brother didn't really like it, but he really like some episodes that I really don't like.

It is up to you though.

edit: I mean... seriously... they recommend skipping Jetrel???
That episode is incredibly good character development for Neelix. I just can't fathom that.

I will think about it haha. Maybe I'll watch all of it, maybe nothing. I'm not sure if I still want to watch tv series in the first place. That said, I'm now watching the second episode of Enterprise and I think it's better than the first! I love how primitive it all is and how the humans are treated as inferior to the Vulcans. It's now like the humans are one of those random species that the TNG crew would encounter if you know what I mean.

I think it's that sense of family that was brought up a few weeks ago.  As you watch it, you are there with them.

Yeah it's really interesting, them being the pioneers. finding undiscovered things. That's Star Trek to a tee.
