Who Is This Guy?
Thy site reveals thy name....I was born in the early 90's therefore under generational categorisation I would be categorised as a 90's kid and a Millennial though as to my place of origin, it began in a village within the continent of Wales (A place that resides to the West of England and South of Scotland for those outside of the UK who may be unfamiliar with the geography) I was diagnosed with Mild Asperger's Syndrome when I was a child and diagnosed again as an adult. I have also self diagnosed myself with OCD which is in eternal onflict with my Dyslexia, there battle wos and still emains legendary. As a Faneditor I edit the following kinds of movies for the following reasons. 1: Films I deem bad and I believe have a chance of redemption as fixing them is very therapeutic for me. 2: Films I deem good but not perfect so that I can have said film meet my standards of perfection, the power of my OCD compels me. 3: Simply because I can, I can rewrite and reedit entire sequences and characters if I so choose as long as there's footage and audio for me to work and rework with. Outside the realms of Fanediting I unofficially practice a form of Martial Arts known as Shotokan Karate and indulge in the practices of various styles of Photography with my favourite forms of photographic experimentation being Landscape and Abstractive shots, I am also into various forms of Anime and Manga that are mainly of the actionized Shonen Jump variety though others have slowly opened up my plethora and intrigue into other genres of Anime and Manga throughout the years. I am also into Comicbooks and Graphic Novels such as TMNT, Batman and the vast majority of Marvel. At least....when there storylines aren't indulging in Retcons and repetitively stagnant writing, Video Games are one of the other forms of multimedia entertainment that I enjoy indulging in to the point where I will constantly revist them in differing ways such as creating my own challenge runs or custom characters with their own set of skills, backstories and differing aspects of morality if said games happen to be RPG's. Otherwise I will simply revist said medium as a means to pass the time or for the sake of nostalgic value. When it pertains to online and offline discussions I despise subjects concerning IRL Politics, Climate Change, Actor and Author related controversies and Religion VS Religion related debates along with Atheism VS Religion debates. Such topics have not only inflicted serious damage upon my mental health but have stained and sometimes outride destroyed my various related bonds I have formed with people throughout the years. So if I don't partake in discussion threads related to such topics or I attempt to steer the conversation elsewhere and avoid addressing said subjects entirely if someone tries to engage in said discussions with me well....now you know why, on a more light hearted related note I enjoy previewing and reviewing other Faneditors edits though I like to familiarise myself with the original source material first as I feel that is the best way to not only aide one during previewing but it also adds more fuel for me to strengthen my style of reviewing a Fanedit. As long as said Fanedit doesn't delve into the distressing themes I mentioned above, doesn't contain animal related gore and isn't a full blown musical than whenever I have the freetime I am happy to help should one desire my help....naturally if one wishes to know more about me or is interested in viewing my Fanedits feel free to PM me (once Private Messaging has been implemented/is already implemented depending on the time and day one should choose to read introduction)

Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning - The Quicker Pace Cut (title subject to change.)
When I watched the latest and final installment in the Mission Impossible franchise I left dissapointed. I didn't hate it, but it was overly theological, long, boring, etc. If you love it, that's great! If you don't, well maybe this can help. What am I doing? Well I am working on fixing MI:8 to be yes in some places a bit slower but not lose itself in exposition dumps and create an epic final tale. With Ethan Hunt and his team on one last mission that by all accounts will be "impossible". A big change will be (spoiler hidden) But, I can't fix that. :_: I have so far made the following cuts The opening no longer has the A.I flashback Presidents Message is in mindset of potentially getting edited down or chopped altogether Paris no longer has a flashback to Gabriel telling her she will betray him I am planning to remove the flashback of her remembering Ethan saving her Grace no longer has a flashback explaining who sent her to Ethan, instead Ethan just knows by her dialogue. Ethan makes no remark that he needs his "cuff-links" to escape he just assures her he has a plan (might reverse) When Ethan is picked up by the government we know longer have a random conversastion about how the guy's dad was killed by Ethan so the son now hates Ethan, blah blah, no cut it all. I am definetly removing the ice-dome romance scene completely. I might even look to the deleted footage reel THIS is the only stuff I have SO far I am going to make more cuts. But this is what I've got as of 10/25/26 @10:06PST. I will make more edits For my work so far here's clips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k1NhC4FkCY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KJNR_x-5-g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EJckYyjGnY I've also worked to cut down the Entity & Ethan chat, it got a bit too religious for me with the "As it is written" and "you are the chosen one" so I cut it down. V1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C0ItAEzkyI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU-aFqWYhmc V2 this one is a bit longer but makes more sense and has less editing glitches. But neither are the final, I'd love to see feedback. I must give a shout out to Spence a fe.org member for their minor assistance and idea discussion.

What is the strangest piece of food or drink you have eaten
I ate a bit of pigs cheek, I basically bought a pig head and boiled it. It wasn't very nice. I probably should have considered superior cooking methods.

Post editing now available
I've added an edit button. This is a much needed breath of fresh air, as we now no longer need to worry about typos. This was more work than it needed to be though... I've run up a lot of technical debt through laziness... I am currently using a model/view/control method, but I left a lot of razorpage methods in place and now it's getting awkward trying to weave them together. I need to take some time to clean up the old methods. I have been laying some groundwork though so I do have a lot of the pieces already created.

Forum layout upgraded
I have placed new topic buttons into forums now, so you can easily create a topic wherever you are. Should be simpler. I left the new topic button at the top as it may be useful, I wasn't sure if it would prove confusing so I'm undecided on that for now. I wanted to do other stuff, but I noticed some of my naming in the server side code was very inconsistent and it needed to be tidied to save future problems. Busywork. *sigh*

Forum layout upgraded
I did a lot of work on layout, showing useful data in the forum cards and changing the layout so that types of data will be in the expected position so your eyes aren't darting all over the place. I also updated the general layout, nudging forums to the left to make space for recent posts on the right. While there is a recent updates box on the main page, there needs to be a sense of activity on the forum page, so i feel this kind of bulletin feed is really effective at giving an at-a-glance idea of what's new, with a decent preview. next step will be moving the new topic button from the top of the forum page, into the header of each open forum, and having the new topic form open within the forum container. after that, I feel it's important to add a post edit feature and also a way to control image sizes in posts.

Kamen Rider Zeztz
Episode 7 of this show aired today and it's gotten to a point where I really like it. It has been a slow build up to be honest. I didn't hate it to start off with, but it didn't 'grab' me. Now I feel like I'm invested. The design of the costume is really nice, although there are places where the construction seems poor, I think usually the version that is used for a lot of the more acrobatic kinds of movements, it looks a bit poor, but I can live with it. (image) (image) The way this is released is pretty good too this year, being a youtube release means that people all around the world can watch it. Of course that does mean fansubs are going to be a bit lost and that is sad, but I would like to see more varied ways that fans can interact with the show now. Full episodes are available on TokuSHOUTsu, but I don't know if that's in every country.

Hi, I'm Prism!
Hello my name is Prism, I love movies. I was born in the 2000s but still my array of film knowledge is vast and ever growing, I love a good 80s adventure, a superhero blockbuster, really I love a lot of genres, except horror and some more obscure. But really, if your film is entertaining, then I'll enjoy it! I have wanted to become a fan-editor as I love the concept of fans fixing broken films, not all films are broken, but frankly sometimes seeing a fan pay homage to the past in a re-edit of the sequels instead of adding stupid lines like "Somehow Palpatine Returned" can be really satisfying. I've yet to really sink my teeth deep into fan-editing but I want to, and maybe here I'll feel allowed to.

About me, Tremault/Triadne
So about me, who I am....... I'm an 80s kid, love videogames. got into coding with BASIC on our first commodore. I always struggled with remembering syntax though, so I tend to use the frankenstein method, grabbing code from other places, figuring out how it works and changing what I need to, to fit in with my code. I created TheGuyver.net in early 2000s and grew the community to many thousands of members while Guyver was in it's heyday. I started the Guyver Advocacy project, initially translating on my own using Italian books, but later bringing others on board to help translate from Japanese. Guyver is on Hiatus now for many years and I left the site in the hands of a friend several years ago. I have a degree in animation and studied film and video since college in 1998. I started fanediting around 2020 and have a few relatively successful releases. I developed 2 video games between 2015 and 2019. They aren't very good, but I made a decent number of sales on them and at least 1 or 2 people like them so that's okay. The games can be viewed on Steam, called Acid Flip and Super Minesweeper Attack. I live in the UK, I'm female, I'm adhd and autistic, I like to listen and learn. I'm adaptable, non judgemental, always wanting to learn and improve my understanding of others. I'm always ready to change my world view and i like debates and in depth discussions.

added more data to forums and unique user icons.
I've created full forum views. I created a simple admin tool that lets me create forums relatively easily. I also made it so the forums can have emoji icons for easier identification. I made a dropdown box in new topic form to select from the existing forums.

Safety Assessment, to comply with online safety act
Thanks for the perspective. I am also concerned with the potential invasion of privacy, so I need to have some form of lock on it, so a moderator or admin can't just go snooping. When I eventually do set up direct messaging, I'll need to think very carefully how to balance privacy and safety.

Safety Assessment, to comply with online safety act
Yeah I am definitely not a fan of the UK law changes that have been made or are attempting to be made recently and I say that as someone from the UK. I do feel that monitored private messaging is a bit of a double edged sword as on one hand it's an invasion of privacy and one could just use the report button to inform staff of dodgy activity, on the other hand though it would allow staff to react faster in dealing with troublemakers especially if the user feels to scared to use the report button. Probably isn't an issue for those who optionally choose to leave there email addresses available or if they have other means of contacting someone online as they can have private encrypted discussions elsewhere. Otherwise I see no issues with this sites online safety act and am still invested in it's development and eventual population of fanmade content.

Safety Assessment, to comply with online safety act
I've create a safety assessment to ensure compliance with the law. I would prefer to allow appropriate discussions as would happen in a public place like the park, a restaurant, etc. but UK law seems to be a bit of a mess at the moment, so I need to be more stringent. Whilst public registration is not open yet, I need to have this in place before I do open it up. I welcome all feedback, opinions, etc.

Fanedit Acceptance Requirements?
Thanks for getting back to me on my querie, I am glad that the intent behind the design philosophy of such a database is more open to ones style of fanediting firsthand rather than forcing the editor to prove themselves firsthand and compromise there vision in order to meet a rigid criteria. In any case if there are problems relating to the quality of any potential future edits I may do I can always jot down any useful notations I find in the potential review sections to improve the quality of my works overtime. I,ll of course be sure to put down certifications and plenty of content warnings for my works if any of them lean into ''Mature Content'' territory so that at least the viewer or viewers know what there getting into firsthand and whether such material is to their liking or not. Nice interface logos and icons beneath the BBCode Help function by the way, I see the expansion of the sites features is coming along rather nicely.

I added topic views so we can see engagement, also added total posts to forum cards. I also added unique user icons that are generated from username. This is just to give some visual feedback for now, until I make a image upload system.

Fanedit Acceptance Requirements?
I understand why you ask this. The intention is to be a comprehensive database rather than a curated showcase based on prestige, The fanedit pages will be made by users and maintained by users. There will be no restriction in place. Aside from preventing abuse of course.

Fanedit Acceptance Requirements?
Hi, I know that it's probably gonna be a while before people are able to add to the Fanedit database and I know that Fanworx isn't primarily a Fanediting website. But when the Fanedit database does become a thing will a First Time Faneditors process become a thing? I hope an FTFP doesn't become a thing given my previous distressing experience with such a thing, honestly I am hoping if possible that one will someday be able to just submit the database description for a Fanedit. I do understand however if you felt an FTFP was necessary, I sincerely apologise if the timing of this question was inconvenient, I am mainly asking out of curiosity and it's something that's been on my mind for a while.

logins should persist now
I think I've nailed down the issue with logins being expired too quickly. I've made sure the cookies are stored with a 30 day expiration after last visit. I've also stored security keys in a secure folder on the server so hopefully logins should persist even when I restart the server software. I don't know how many people found it annoying, but I am hoping that should now be done. please let me know if you have issues with it.

What is the last movie you watched and what did you think?
ah! I forgot to add that spoiler tag! well I just added it now and I figured i'd add bbcode buttons at the same time so this should be easier. So there are things I didn't say about the movie that would have been spoilers. such as how (spoiler hidden) having previously seen how he was (spoiler hidden), we sort of got the sense that he (spoiler hidden), but then this happens. It's (spoiler hidden), so I really recommend it!

What is the last movie you watched and what did you think?
Well I haven't seen Nobody I didn't think your description of the film contained spoilers. I say this because ''Guy who's mundane life goes by only for surprising stuff to happen'' is quite a common film trope, that and you didn't go into the specifics of what his mundane life contained or what the surprising stuff was. I think your description definitely gives a good summarisation of the film without going into the spoiler inducing specifics of the films narrative, music & cinematography.
